It all started when Sephora came to my neck of the woods over a year ago. I entered the glass doors on opening day and I instantly fell in love! Everything was super bright and shiny and new. Everyone was super excited and in such a great mood that it was infectious. You couldn’t help but smile while you shop. After about an hour (any longer and my credit card would have given out on me), I came out with a great haul! First, I got the Sephora Two Tone Portfolio Brush Set ($57 CAD). This brush set is amazing for someone (like me!) who’s starting out a makeup collection. You get a blush brush, powder/complexion blush, eyeshadow blending brush, eyeshadow detail brush, concealer brush, and a retractable lip brush all in one handy travel portfolio! If you do the math, that’s about $11 per brush. Compare it to their normal prices individually, the brush set is a great steal.

I also picked up the Sephora Daily Brush Cleaner ($8 CAD) so I can keep my brushes nice and bacteria-free. At $8 you can’t go wrong in protecting your brushes from nasty germs that can start growing on your brushes. There’s also a Sephora Purifying Brush Shampoo that you can buy to wash your brushes but that’s a whole another post! I rounded out my haul with some items that my mom wanted: the Sephora Nano Eyeliner in 05 – Chocolate ($7 CAD) and Sephora Eyebrow Pencil in Brown 2 ($13 CAD). Yes, I went overboard with the Sephora brand items. Don’t judge!
